- The Black Soil Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, as adopted at the 35th Session of the Standing Committee of the Thirteenth National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China on June 24, 2022, is hereby issued, and shall come into force on August 1, 2022.
- 《中華人民共和國黑土地保護法》已由中華人民共和國第十三屆全國人民代表大會常務委員會第三十五次會議于2022年6月24日通過，現予公布，自2022年8月1日起施行。

- Article 1 This Law is enacted for the purposes of protecting black soil resources, steadily restoring and improving the basic fertility of black soil, promoting sustainable utilization of resources, maintaining ecological balance, and safeguarding national food security.
- 第一條 為了保護黑土地資源，穩步恢復提升黑土地基礎地力，促進資源可持續利用，維護生態平衡，保障國家糧食安全，制定本法。
- Article 2 This Law shall apply to activities such as the protection and utilization of black soil and related control and restoration. Where this Law is silent, land administration and other relevant laws shall apply.
- 第二條 從事黑土地保護、利用和相關治理、修復等活動，適用本法。本法沒有規定的，適用土地管理等有關法律的規定。
- For the purpose of this Law, "black soil" means the cultivated land with good characteristics, highly fertile, which contains black or dark black humus topsoil within the relevant areas of Heilongjiang province, Jilin province, Liaoning province and Inner Mongolia autonomous region (hereinafter referred to as the "four black soil regions").
- 本法所稱黑土地，是指黑龍江省、吉林省、遼寧省、內蒙古自治區（以下簡稱四省區）的相關區域范圍內具有黑色或者暗黑色腐殖質表土層，性狀好、肥力高的耕地。
